This Superb Quality early 19th century Regency Antique Tea Caddy dates from ca. 1830 and is made from hickory and maple veneers. It has a domed top with hanged lid and has boxwood string inlay around the edges. The interior has two lids with small brass handles and this fine antique box has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
