Hand carved from solid mango wood, the artisanal Masala Chai Full Length Mirror is surrounded by mini finials that guide the eye along the internal curve of the mirror, creating a soothing and elegant frame to showcase your interior and bounce light into your room.We chose mango wood for this mirror for both its beautifully rich warm tones as well as its kindness to the planet. Once the mango fruit is used, the standard practice is the trees are burnt down to clear space for replanting. However, by using the wood, the farmers gain extra income, and their environment is not polluted or heated by smoke from the fires.Additional advantages to mango wood are its density and durability. The solid structure of the mirror ensures its stability over time; it will travel with you across your homes, your style changes, and be passed down through the generations.Masala Chai is hand made in Rajasthan by artisans using traditional techniques. The patina of the mirror is designed to emulate generations of use. As you admire it, you notice tones of taupe, white, oatmeal and deep brown.
